Verbena hastata, also known as blue vervain, is a perennial herb that thrives in moist, well-drained soil.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS:
It is a sun-loving plant that requires at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day.
SIZE:
When fully grown, the blue vervain can reach a height of 3-5 feet and a spread of 1 to 2 feet, making it a stunning addition to any garden or landscape.
BLOOM TIME/COLOR:
This plant blooms in the mid-summer to fall, producing slender spikes of tiny, purplish-blue flowers that attract butterflies and other pollinators.
COMPANION PLANTS:

LARVAL HOST:
