LIGHT REQUIREMENTS:

It prefers partial shade to full sun, making it a versatile addition to any garden or landscape. Full shade is fine so long as it stays moist enough.

 

SIZE:

This deciduous shrub can reach up to 4-6 feet in height and width, making it an excellent choice for the back of borders or naturalized areas.

 

BLOOM TIME/COLOR:

The beautyberry blooms in late summer to early fall, producing small clusters of lavender to purple berries that add a pop of color to the garden.

 

COMPANION PLANTS:

It pairs well with other native plants such as oakleaf hydrangea, viburnum, and Virginia sweetspire.
